Student-quality oil paints are best for beginners and less expensive than artist-quality oil paints. If something goes wrong, you can always remove the palette knife or even soft material and re-apply them again. 

Price range from a few euros for smaller tubes to 15euro for a tube of 150ml (van Gogh). I will not dive deep into all oil paints' characteristics (I will leave it for the next posts).⠀
